2009.15 Bats and environmental impact assesment

In 2006 the Society for the Study and Conservation of Mammals, The Netherlands, the National Museum of Natural History, Bulgaria and the Romanian Bats Protection Association, Romania, developed and submitted a project proposal “Bats and EIA: Tools for implementation of European Habitats Directive and EUROBATS agreement in Bulgaria and Romania” to the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, applying for a grant under BBI MATRA Action Plan 2005 - 2008. The project was granted and started about the end of 2006 and finished at the end of 2008.
